“We may think there is little of interest or importance in what we personally say or do – but it is remarkable how many of our families, as we pass on down the line, are interested in all that we do and all that we say” ~ Spencer W. Kimball

Topic for Tuesday 29th March - Nicknames
Did you have a nickname as you were growing up? If you did, what was it and why did they call you that? Have you had other nicknames as an adult? What do family members call you now?
With a name like Sherami, I have had a TON of nicknames. Sherm, Squirm, Shermy, Shermby and just about any other variation you can think of, including some that were gross. My husband and his family call me "Suquita," which means "person with fair skin and hair" in the native Indian language in Ecuador. It's a very affectionate term, and I love that they call me that. My dad and mom called me "Little Face." My sisters have called me "Shermalita" since I got home from my mission because they say it makes them feel like they speak Spanish too.
